I bought my first camera about forty years ago, a Canon AE-1 if I remember correctly. I have taken MANY pictures since then, and am now shooting with a Nikon D500 with a Nikon 18-200 VR lens attached, which I have used almost exclusively since I bought the camera. That lens does produce some optical distortion, but nothing that can't be corrected in post editing, and the convenience can't be beaten.

I am a relative newcomer to Huntington Beach, CA, and a life-long car nut, so as you can imagine, my concentration since arriving has been on cars - with one or more car shows happening every day of the year within about twenty miles of Huntington Beach. I also greatly enjoy shooting downtown areas, as you'll see in my Albums on Austin, Boston, San Diego, Los Angeles, Detroit and more.
