Chapter 1: No Basic

Before the end of last year I was not familiar with any photography terms (or just call it basic terms) like aperture, bokeh, exposure and many more (even today also I am still learning). I was planning to buy a camera so I asked one of my friend who is having good knowledge about it. He first explained few of the terms and then suggested me to go for mirrorless camera. As a newbie his suggestion was best one.

Chapter 2: Expensive purchase.

Sony a7ii was just launched at that time. Pricy but eventually I got Sony a7ii with sony zeiss 55mm lens.Of course my wife was the most annoyed/angry person at that time.

Chapter 3: First experience

Open the box, setup the lens, first few click, photography is my passion. hehe...

First(winter) trip: I haven't explored the camera features yet. It was late afternoon and very cold. I took few shots, gorgeous (by my standard) and suddenly after few clicks, it takes more time then usual and all my shots are blur(I increased the aperture to 14). I was frustrated and angry thinking camera stopped working just in a month time. Back from the trip, instantly replaced it with new one. Two days later met my friend and he explained me reason. Then I realize first I need to learn the basic and camera feature.

Chapter 4: Flickr

After my intial mistake I start learning photography basics and camera features. Got few books as well. Youtube tutorial helps a lot. It easy to understand and implement. Now question was, what should I click? Flickr... You can click anything around you and make it a marvelous piece of art/memoire.

Chapter 5: Lenses - Auto or Manual

Auto focus is the best lens one should go for if he's beginner. I already had one 55mm auto prime, so wanted to go for a manual lens. Sony zeiss lens were expensive so I decided to go for some cheaper option, in a span of a month I got 40mm f/1.4 voigtlander, 85mm f/1.4 rokinon.
