In the past year I have been introduced to photography and in that I have learned to love it. Finding a way to capture someone's emotions in a photo is something I find amazing and hope to one day master myself. I love taking photos and improving my skills. My favorite things to take pictures of would be portraits of people and animals. I love seeing the details in their face and eyes and being able to capture their emotions. I also have really enjoyed taking pictures at night. I use using long exposures to capture the stars and lights in order change the details in a photo. Which can make a basic tent light up in a mesmerizing way.

Out of all the types of photos I have taken there are few I do not love. However the one’s I do dislike would have to be taking candids in classrooms. The reason for this is even though you can get interesting photos. It’s hard to get good lighting and to make it creative compared to other types of photos.

For taking photos I normally use a Nikon COOLPIX L820. This camera works great for me. it takes very good photos and is easy to use. However on occasion I do use a Nikon D3100 which works great and is relatively simple to use once you get to know the camera.

In the future I would like to continue improving my photography skills, I will do this by taking future classes and attending a photography club. In order improve my skills, and continue to show my creativity through photos in an interesting way.
