Hello!

My name is Nicholas Kachala. I truly enjoy photography. My two specialties are birds and flowers. Given the nature of birds, some of my photos are not the best quality, but I am learning. Most of my flower pictures are taken in my own yard. I plant a large variety of flowers every year. My favorites are Coneflowers, Gazanias, and Zinnias. If a flower photo isn't from my yard, it was taken at a local park. I also love astronomy, and sometimes astrophotography appears in my stream. It isn't the best, but my Nikon D5200 isn't great for astrophotography. All my photography budget goes into super-telephoto lens for birding and such.

I currently am working with the Tamron 150-600mm f:5/6.3 VC. This is an amazing lens for the price, and recommend it for anyone who needs the distance, but doesn't want to spend ten thousand dollars on a super-telephoto. The Tamron does have drawbacks though. This past winter (2015) I ran into connection problems in the cold and the AF was slow. These problems were not a big deal though compared to the output that the lens gives. Anyway, so that's my photography life!
