I grew up in a military family. I have lived in Seattle, WA, Ketchikan, Whittier, and Fairbanks, Alaska, Athens Greece, Ankara Turkey, Arizona, Oregon, California, Tennessee, Georgia, Texas, Alabama, Vietnam, Utah, Montana, South Dakota, Minnesota and Oklahoma. I served 4 years in the Marine Corps, 3 years in the U.S. Army (and 19 yrs in the Natl. Guard, retiring in 1990). I was an Air traffic controller for the FAA and then a flight inspection pilot for a total of 13 years. Between 1980 and 1984 I was an instructor pilot for the FAA and attended law school at Oklahoma City Univ. I practiced law in OKC from 1985 thru 1996 when I became a Federal Administrative law judge in Fresno, CA. I retired in 2009 and returned to OKC.

I took up photography seriously after retirement and virtually all of my pictures in Flickr are post 2005. My primary photography interest is landscape, animals and birds. However, as you can see in my photostream I also take photos of people, cars, and whatever catches my attention.

I live with my wife, Sandra and between us we have 6 children, 14 grandchildren and 4 great grand children.
