My name is Daniel Santacruz. I am a journalist, editor, translator and a budding photographer living in Maale Adumim, a town in the Judean Desert, in central Israel.

I started collecting pictures of misspelled and catchy signs in English during my second trip to Israel. I photographed the first on Jaffa Street, in Jerusalem, and others during that trip.

And found more and more during subsequent trips, until it became almost a mission.

Every time I go out, I bring my camera with me and my editor's eyes open up in search of funny and catchy signs.

In no way I try to insult the organizations that wrote the signs. I understand that English, although popular here, is still a foreign language. The blog is just an amusing view at the colorful signs that dot the Israeli landscape.
