I first became interested in photography in order to take better pictures of my dogs as I was showing and breeding Siberian Huskies. In 2003 I caught a virus that left me with permanent overall weakness and very poor balance so that was the end of dog showing and the beginning of a serious interest in photography. My disability makes it more difficult for me as it's impossible to stand still so I have to very often up the shutter speed to offset the movement of myself as well as the subject and can only go where my buggy goes.
