I have been interested in wild life and nature since I was a young boy. I retired 33 years ago and have spent many years since, out and about with the camera. Now, just under two years short of my 90th birthday, most of my photography takes place in our small town-house garden but I still manage to get to local parks and wildlife centres from time to time. I have photographed well over 250 species of creature in our garden and have become fascinated by the diversity of life that either lives in it or visits us.
With the conservation of all wildlife now so vitally important, I try to support various wildlife organisations and am a member of Sussex Wildlife Trust: Butterfly Conservation (Sussex Branch): the RSPB: the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust: the Manhood Wildlife & Heritage Group: and Plantlife.
