David's interest in photography began while still in grade school. His dad gave him a camera for his 13th birthday and a passion for taking pictures began.

In 1993, after earning a BFA in Advertising Photography from R.I.T. (Rochester Institute of Technology) David moved back home to NYC to work for some of the industry's top image makers who challenged his skills, taught him the business and encouraged his talent. During this time he assisted for such noted photographers as Jon Ragel and Kwaku Alston. David has also worked behind the scenes on productions with Richard Hall, Andrew Simpson and MAPS for Target, Kohl's and Stacey Adams Shoes.

During the next phase of his career David spent over 10 years as the Operations Manager of two of the photo industry's most prominent rental studios: 5th & Sunset East and Bathhouse Studios. There he communicated daily with industry professionals who, along with his staff, were able to produce Photo Shoots, TV Spots, Fashion Shows, Product Launches, and Special Events for such esteemed brands as Porche, Diesel Jeans, Fuel TV, fashion designer Marlon Gobel, GQ, VH1, W Mag, and Louis Vuitton, to name a few.

Today, David focuses his efforts behind the lens and has shot campaigns for American Baby Magazine, designer Camille La Vie, Dibur Watches, Nexxus for Arnold NYC, and Captain Morgan for Diagio.
