Trying to enjoy some of the things I like doing in life. Almost all of my pictures are handheld photographs. I feel less tied down when not hauling a tripod around.
I started photography at the age of 10. By the time I was in high school photography class I was developing my own film and pictures. My first darkroom was in my house and it was the hallway bathroom. The enlarger was on the toilet seat, my developer baths and trays were in the bath tub, and my finished pictures were washed in the sink and hung to dry on the shower curtain rod. My dark light was replacing the bath light and the towels were on the floor between the door seems. I like to keep my pictures real and close to what the human eye perceives. Sometimes too much sharpness is a bad thing and I intentionally reduce sharpness in certain areas. Having a 10,000 dollar camera and lens setup that makes a picture look so unreal and that makes everything look like a digital super high rez cartoon is not my style.
So I Keep It Real.
If you like any of my pictures and would like to purchase a print let me know. I can print on canvas or paper up to 52" in width.
Thank You for visiting and viewing my pictures.
