Hi, I am Anders and I live in Oslo, Norway, with my wife Annika Nyberg. The kids have left the nest. I was born in Bergen and grew up in Fredrikstad but my roots are in Nordfjord and Steigen. The best part of adolescence was spent as a singer and bass player. It was during film studies at Hofstra University in New York that I abandoned my religious faith. Still I went on to work for Norwegian evangelist Aril Edvardsen as lighting cameraman, producer and studio/stage lighting coordinator before I moved on to where I am today, working as a videojournalist and photographer at Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation, NRK.

I was diagnosed with Parkinsons Disease in 2010 and soon became a patient advocate. My exhibition “This is Parkinson`s” will soon be followed by my latest project "This is Parkisnon`s ten years after".
