Never have I fallen in love with a human being. However, I've fallen in love with love itself; of crooked teeth formed into the brightest smiles, even the endless roadmaps of aging skin; the soundwaves of silence, Nature's sunsets, and the reflective shells of insects catching the glow of it all; the bewilderment of children, their laughter seemingly stopping the world - its palette brighter in their loving, curious eyes. Of warm embraces by gentle hands and steaming cups; an equilibrium amidst the frost of the heart. Touch, but not for the sake of touching; to understand the language of skin and perfect imperfections. The light caress perhaps apologetic, open, and grounding. Again I feel eternity behind the lens, forever drenched in Ego's longing. What is love? Or rather, what is not love?
