Originally from London, England, I transplanted to the United States in 2003. As a professional hawkwatcher I have traveled the world to witness raptor migration and have experience counting raptors in North America, Europe the Middle East and Asia. I have written about birds and birding for publications here in the US and in Europe including Audubon Magazine, Birdwatch Magazine and ABA’s Birding Magazine. Since 2012 I've sat on the Hawk Migration Association of North America Board and chaired their Tours Committee. I'm currently based in Altadena California and employed as a professional tour guide by High Lonesome BirdTours and Wildside Nature Tours. You'll find me at most birding festivals working on the ZEISS Sports Optics booth. I mainly take photos of birds and natural history just to share some of the things I get to see.
