Based in Turin, Northern Italy, I have been a photography lover since I was a child, when I proudly exhibited an instant camera and a badge of the "Mickey Mouse Photo Reporter Club", sponsored by the local Disney's publisher.

Some years later, thanks also to the support of my lovely fiancee/wife, I had the opportunity and the pleasure of shooting lots of travel pictures using Fuji and Nikon reflex film cameras.

I transitioned to digital in 2011, buying one of the first Coolpix, replaced by a Nikon D50 DSLR in 2005. Seven years ago I updated it with a D800 completed by a couple of high quality zooms.

Currently, I'm also a happy user of a mirrorless Leica, much easier to carry on during my trips and hiking, while preserving high quality and pleasure to use.

I have always been fond of nature and travel photo, as well of still-life captures.
