The Milwaukee County Office of Performance, Strategy and Budget is located within the Fiscal Affairs Division of the Department of Administrative Services. Our team’s primary task is to review annual budget requests and to assist the County Executive in developing the Recommended Budget as required by Wisconsin State Statute 59.60.

In addition to budget development, the Office assists departments in tracking progress towards performance measures, many of which were included in the 2014 Adopted Budget. We also assist departments with other financial tasks such as current year budget monitoring, fund transfers, analysis of policy proposals, and other similar matters.
