Hi, I'm Sarah Pondevie, and I teach all aspects of fashion! I have more than 20 years of experience in the industry, from costume and fashion design, to ready to wear and bridal couture, printing, dyeing, quilting, CAD and tertiary level lecturing.

I started Workspace Fashion and Design School as a creative space for makers of fashion to share ideas and learn about the fundamentals of sewing, pattern making and fabric design.

I do not have a personal style, because I am too fascinated by the world of variety. So whether I am building corsets using historical references, exploring zero waste pattern making, or emulating Japanese pattern making aesthetics, I am in my element. In my world, there are no design problems, just opportunities for exploring solutions!
