I'm an amateur street photographer in the Denver, CO area. Shows here that I've been a member since 2014. However, this is the first time I have been on Flickr in probably 2 years or so. I deleted my entire group of pics and then added those seen here on 12/29/19. I used to shoot film and some of these pics are scans of various negatives (Epson v800). I now just shoot digital primarily for ease of use/editing. I'm a big fan of Fujifilm's X series cameras and their commitment to real photographers. I have settled on the XT3 as my main camera recognizing way, way too late that gear is really unimportant for what I'm trying to do and say. Anyway, it's good to be back.

I found Rick quite by accident, it was the best thing that has happened to me so far this year. What an amazing photographer and not just as an artist but as a compassionate human being too, he really gets it and this is what makes him such an incredible artist You can see that he does not snipe and rob folk of their dignity, no, he goes up, makes friends and then asks them if he can tell their story/share the moment. Flickr has thousands and thousands of photographers but most are just technical clones of each other as the pictures all look pretty much the same very few carry weight and those that do do not need heavy colouring or flashy naked chicks, no! they carry messages that communicate with the soul and that to me my friend is a true photographer. Great work Rick (please keep it coming as I can't get enough of it.)
