While in 6th grade, I was paid by ABC Sports for some 8mm film I took at the Sebring 12-hour sports car race. I grew up with film cameras and manual metering. You had to wait until the lab sent back your images, hoping they would be good!

That taught me to be attentive to details and all the elements of good composition.

Today, using digital cameras, I still strive to capture details and the "awe" that makes a difference in the image/subject.
