I am a retired law professor from the University of South Carolina School of Law, living in Columbia SC. I got into "serious" photography rather late in life, but thoroughly enjoy it. Other hobbies include gardening, chess, model railroading, college football, reading (sea novels, history, mysteries, Clive Cussler type action novels, and theology -- or almost anything unrelated to law!) I have been happily married for 54 years, with two daughters and four grandchildren. My little dog Hutch and Siamese Cats Tony and Cleo (see photo stream), with their demands to be played with, fed, etc., take up what little time I have left in a day! I start my day with flickr and treasure the many fine folks I have met, and whose photographs I deeply admire.
