I've recently had someone very graciously, gift me a pro account, for which I'm very grateful for. I've done a lot of thinking about how Flickr has changed the way people use their service, and I've decided I will only post my best quality shots, and occasionally rotate photos. Some people may notice, I've dropped about 2,500 photo's from my account. I hope this keeps my page a little more fresh, and easier to navigate. I'm sure I'll continue to throw a few 'snap shot" style photo's in, that interest me, but I'll try to keep them to a minimum.

I've always, really liked looking at photographs. I love how pictures tell a story, and enjoy the art that some people can capture in there photo's. I'm the exact opposite of a professional photographer, in fact I'm more like an amature of amature's. I'm simply here to see some great, and/ or interesting photo's, and share a little of my world. I do like to play around with some basic photo editor's.

I'm a horrible photographer...... BUT I feel that I lead a fairly interesting life, and go to some pretty cool places. I like to take pictures, even though they aren't that great. I'm more interested in the content of a photo, than the details of the shot, although I do appreciate the art of lights, shadows, ect...

Sometimes I get a little "carried away" with posting "sets" of pictures, but mostly because I had such a good time taking them, or a great vacation. :-)

I've become a little discouraged posting in "Groups" lately. They seem to be full of assholes that want to simply "dump" photos there, that are off topic. I wish they were better monitored, and I'd probably rejoin some of them.

I also like it when people put a little information in their profile, instead of a blank page !!!

My hobbies pretty much all revolve around my love of 4 Wheeling, and the Great Outdoors !!! That doesn't mean I don't appreciate landscapes, old barns, flowers, portraits or any of a thousand other types of photo's. :-)

My favorite subject to photograph is my wife (of over 20 years). Most of my pictures are of things that interest me, and I hope people find some of them interesting.

Just a side note. ALL of my pictures are in Albums, so if there are certain types of pictures that interest you, you don't need to go through the whole photostream.

I've used many inexpensive camera's over the years (mostly because I'm hard on electronics), here is what I'm currently using.

Nikon D3300 - If I know I'm going to be in a fairly clean environment.

Fujifilm Finepix S4250WM - If I know there's a chance I'll be in a crappy environment (as in the Jeep, ect...).

Sony Cyber Shot DCS W830 - I just picked this up, because it's very small (the size of an old flip phone), and some of the best photo ops are when you least expect them.

Nikon Coolpix L32 - I keep this in my truck "just in case".

Galaxy J3 - because sometimes that's all I've got :-)
