The changing of perceptions is what drives me. I do not perceive myself as an artist, I would describe myself as a creative human being, who the viewer sees as the receiver and myself as the transmitter. A creative being that combines words and visuals (paintings, drawings and sculptures). Not with the intention to break patterns, but to inspire the viewer to look different at reality. Looking equally at his own reality as the reality around him. I try to change perceptions. Perceptions are not about looking, but about constructions in your mind.

You should not evaluate my work on how it looks, you have to value it for what it does to you. My work is not necessarily about the visual, but about the message it brings forth. That also explains my diversity in work and in some cases, the speed with which it is created. The message determines the shape not the other way around.

The receiver who joins me in my story is someone who understands that reality is a construction of experiences and assumptions. And those who dares to believe, are capable to handle accordingly. Those are the people who have the power to turn their life around. People who are capable of creating their own reality. And that is a freedom I would grant everyone to have.
