I've had an interest in photography for as long as I can remember. My first camera was a Kodak Box Brownie that my grandad gave me when I was probably 10. I 'progressed' to awful 35mm point and shoot cameras, before getting my first decent slr, an Olympus OM10 with the optional manual adapter. I then joined the RAF at 18, in Feb 1984, and went to RAF Cosford to JSOP as it was then called, the Joint Services School of Photography. It was a fantastic school, and we were trained to use 5"x4" monorail cameras, Rollieflex tlrs, Hasselblad 500cms, and Nikon F3. After 8 1/2 years of service, enjoying nearly every minute, I left for a new career, sadly not involving photography. Although I was late to the digital party, I eventually bought a Canon Eos 300d in 2003/4 and did very little other than family shots. Since 2014 I've been fortunate enough to upgrade my gear, and spend a lot more time following my hobby, and shooting mainly military aviation. I can thank my grandad and my dad for this love of aviation, which they gave to me as a young lad. Thanks for looking at my photos, I hope you like them, but I won't hold it against you if you don't 😉 All constructive criticism welcome.
