Salutations, my name is Brooke Anderson and i am a senior at Polaris high school.

I enjoy taking pictures of landscapes, creepy things, nature, and old interesting things like abandoned buildings. I enjoy taking pictures of these things because it fits my personality in a way that lets me express myself, and I am awesome.

On another note, the types of photos I hate taking vary. Some days I really don't like composition because I feel like if a photo looks amazing in the center, why try and use the rule of thirds? Let it be. Also I really dislike how people edit a photo to the point where it looks terribly overdone. One second shes a girl, the next shes a space Martian. Not my thing.

Anyway, The camera I use most is my Galaxy S4 phone camera. Out of all the cameras I have used, this camera is my favorite. Mainly because it's in my phone and I carry my phone everywhere; just like a baby. It is really just a convenience. Aside from my phone camera, I use a Nikon 3100 that my school has provided and my Kodak AF 3x optical spheric lens that I got when I was 12. Which is pretty old by now but a camera is a camera. All of these cameras are "so rad bro" and are capable to take amazing photos.

The thing I like most about taking photos is that its a form of creative expression that I am actually good at. Since I cant draw very well, photography allows me to express myself in a way that makes me feel like batman, which I love. I plan to take photography with me throughout my whole life. I would love to travel the world with my camera taking snapshots of each and every experience i have; good or bad.
