I have only come to photgraphy in the last couple of years when my partner gave me his relatively unused Olympus. I have been an artist for the past three years painting predominantly bird paintings in acrylic. I have tried to paint in a photographic style so I am very particular about detail. In an effort to combine photography with painting, I want to learn how to use my camera in its SLR digital capacity as well as the point and shoot manner I have used to now.

I also use my partners Canon AOS 300D because he has the better zoom.

I live in the South East of South Australia and love our countryside and its flora and fauna. We are very lucky to have so many subjects to photograph.

I am in awe of the magnificent photos I have seen since loading onto this website.
