My occupation is developing software, but photography is a big passion of mine.

I like to shoot vibrant, colourful scenes, which can be a bit challenging in London. I travel overseas as much as I can, so you will see pictures from all over the place appearing in my stream.

I know it sounds obsessive, but I often plan my travels around what I can photograph. I have found Flickr to be a great source of inspiration when researching my next trip and I always try to share my favourite shooting spots in case I can return the favour.

It is thanks to the Flickr community that I got into HDR photography. I try and take my tripod everywhere in case there is an opportunity to set it down and fire off some brackets!

Unfortunately, this makes my post processing rather time consuming, and I tend to take more pictures than I have time to process. I do have ambitions to get through everything, but my "photo backlog" just continues to grow.

After all, I cannot resist shooting one more sunset or capturing one more illuminated building etc.

I do like to delve into the backlog when there is an opportunity, so this hopefully gives my photo stream a pleasant variety and will keep you guessing as to where the next photo will come from.
