I aim for this to be a record of as many invertebrates as I can find in and around the village of Yegen in Las Alpujarras on the edge of the Sierra Nevade in Spain.

I moved here in 2013 after retiring early and it feels a little as if my life has got back to where it was before I had to properly grow up. Childhood was filled with natural history and I have a zoology degree from Bristol University. But somehow that all drifted away when I had to move to London for work. Now it's back.
