I live in Hamilton, OH which is right outside the great city of Cincinnati. I currently work as an environmental consultant, but have always been a steward for the environment. I also consider myself a naturalist and respect nature and its processes to the fullest. I am also a huge photography person, and started my photography "business" last year called Felicity's Fotos (find me on Facebook). I had a photography exhibition downtown in Hamilton for a month, which was very exciting. I now sell greeting cards at the Farmer’s Market, but besides that my photography business is more of a hobby than anything. Most of my work is of nature and natural landscapes, but I have done other photography work like maternity shoots, horse shows, family shots, etc. I have always loved photography, since I can remember I wanted to be the one behind the camera. My Mum bought me my first camera was I was about 10, but I was always using the old cannon camera my Dad had. Because half of my family lives in England, I have been blessed with the opportunities of travel, and through that experience, have been able to photograph some amazing natural wonders. I am a self taught photographer, but I did participate in a lot of art classes in middle and high school, never a formal photography class though. I finally invested in a Nikon 3200 two years ago (a great birthday present from my husband), and have been able to play with the zoom, action, and macro shots more. Most of the pictures I have or will have featured are done with a simple point and shoot digital camera. I am always observant of good shots, or I think I am, but most recently the biggest project I have done is a wildflower photo shoot this past spring in a local preserve, Glen Helen State Park, which some of my photos “may” be featured in their 2015 calendar. I was also asked to teach a nature photography program at the park. I am so excited to take this course and learn more about my wonderful camera and the many options it offers. I am also super excited to have a course with like minded people and environmental photography enthusiast!
