iSchool.zm is a complete blended eLearning solution that covers the entire Zambian primary curriculum (grades 1-7). It provides detailed lesson plans for teachers (some 5000 in total) guiding them towards interactive enquiry- based learning. For students, iSchool.zm provides thousands of fun, colourful, interactive, multi-media lessons delivered through our educational tablet, the ZEduPad. The lessons are available in English and, for early grades (1-3) in 8 local languages (Bemba, Kaonde, Lozi, Lunda, Luvale, Nyanja, Lusaka Nyanja and Tonga). iSchool takes advantage of the rapid spread of new low cost technologies to deliver quality education in Zambia and the rest of Africa. The ZEduPad tablet is a low-cost low-power tablet which comes pre-loaded with all the iSchool learning content and does not need internet connection to access lessons. It can also be run off solar power meaning pupils in the deep remote areas of Zambia and Africa can use it.
