human vision is a lie
photography is and has always been a lie - every photograph is a lie - on many levels
why ? because:
- human being does not see Reality as it is, neither does photographic equipment they created in the likeness of their mind / an eye
- people's vision of a photograph differs, optically and conceptually - there could be many interpretations and misinterpretations of the same photograph
- variety of photographic equipment and post-processing techniques means that a single scene / subject can be shown in thousands of ways
Everything Is Photographable
My Photos Are Not To Please Anyone

there are many great quotes about photography...here are a few of them:
- "A photograph is a subjective impression. It is what the photographer sees. No matter how hard we try to get into the skin, into the feeling of the subject or situation, however much we empathize, it is still what we see that comes out in the images, it is our reaction to the subject and in the end, the whole corpus of our work becomes a portrait of ourselves."
~ Marilyn Silverstone
- "Of course it's all luck." ~ Henri Cartier-Bresson
- "Make photos that others hate" ~ Eric Kim
- “Sharpness is a bourgeois concept.” ~ Henri Cartier-Bresson
