Fat bloke with a few Nikons. Spend some of my day walking about and take a few snaps of things that catch my eye; live attentively, look around me, look to see if you I am not troubling others with your actions, not doing harm, not causing pain. and post them here to store them and share with others. Somehow over the years I have managed to get over 45,000,000 page views and make a few new friends.

 

I started taking photos in the 1980's with a secondhand FM2 and for ten years managed to build up my equipment and devote more time to photography.

 

Then in the mid90's children came along and the only photos were snapshots.

 

In 2008 returned to taking pictures and bought a new DSLR. Using Capture NX is not as much fun as listen to Paul Weller in a Darkroom with a cup of coffee but I am once again enjoying taking photos and have upgraded my camera and lenses. I now mix things up in terms of equipment using Medium Format Film cameras alongside my Nikons and taking snaps with my phone.
