The origins of Dahl Vineyards hark back to Minnesota where Robert Dahl created a number of successful businesses built on the principles of providing high quality, customer focused products and services.

Robert’s entrepreneurial spirit brought him out west to Napa, California where he initiated firstly a winery and then a craft brewery. His winery focused on developing many successful third party brands producing and selling millions of cases of wines on their behalf. He also launched Napa Point Brewing, Napa’s first ultra-premium craft brewery. He learned from these experiences, along with the winery contacts he made, that authenticity and an unrelenting commitment to quality are the keys to developing alcohol beverages that consumers can embrace.

In late 2013 Robert seized on the opportunity to build his own winery in the heart of Napa Valley in Yountville. A vineyard and winery that could become the ideal home for his own wine brand, that could reflect his commitment, heritage, and his entrepreneurial spirit.
