NRCS provides America's farmers and ranchers with financial and technical assistance to voluntarily put conservation on the ground, not only helping the environment but agricultural operations too. In Virginia, NRCS works closely with 47 soil and water conservation districts and several state agencies to help farmers and other landowners reach their operational and stewardship goals.
