I am a compulsive traveller and a lover of the foreign. I love the sound of languages that don't make sense, the smell of food I've never tasted, the variations in the touch of the sun and the size of the moon in different countries.

I set out to investigate the world because it's a career you never reach the top of and which doesn't require a postgraduate science degree.
