Collectively, we have more than 45 years of experience working in Education and Small Business, both in Australia and Internationally. Through our work in Education and our customer focus in business, we were asking ourselves questions about; what is really important in life!

iCultivate has been born out of a belief that life is often far too complicated and overly materialistic. We believe that there is much to be learnt from such things as Permaculture, organic gardening and self-sufficiency. However, to adhere to the principles that guide each of these requires a significant lifestyle choice.

We didn't want a major lifestyle change, but we did acknowledge that our lifestyle needed "tweaking". Much of it is based around the following philosophy:

"Look after family, friends and community. Want quality, not quantity. Let quality not be measured by a label. Give back to the earth more than you take."

For us this means:

The maintenance of an organic garden and growing what produce we are able.

Living a life that minimises our impact on the earth that we all depend on - as much as possible, utilise organically produced materials and implement sustainable practices.

Recycle, re-use and produce our own requirements rather than consume.

Looking after Body, Mind and Spirit through eating and living more healthily.

It is also our belief that this is something we all need to be in together. So it is our hope, that you will join the iCultivate community and be a part of the sharing of ideas, thoughts, knowledge and understandings that we all can benefit from.
