Although I've been birding since 1978 and my ABA Area Life List is now over 750 species, I didn't start taking photographs until a few years ago. I am not a photographer, so certainly some of the photos I've taken of birds are barely identifiable, some are not so bad. I am posting all of them, good and bad, to the cloud for safe keeping. There are also miscellaneous images of bugs, mammals, reptiles, amphibians and so on which I've also taken. I had to delete many of my photos because of outrageous pricing for “pro” status, sorry.

All the photos which I have taken are handheld in the field with no tripod so, as they say; "You pays yer money, you takes yer chances."

The scenery shots that I am putting up are for my son and two daughters whom I love. My son, Sam, birds with me quite often, and wanted reminders of the trips.

There are some images, though not many, which were taken by Sam, or my brother-in-law and friend Ron Howard both of whom I often travel with. I credit them when that is the case.
