Although I've been birding since 1978 and my ABA Area Life List is now over 750 species, I didn't start taking photographs until a few years ago. I am not a photographer, so certainly some of the photos I've taken of birds are barely identifiable, some are not so bad. I am posting all of them, good and bad, to the cloud for safe keeping. There are also miscellaneous images of bugs, mammals, reptiles, amphibians and so on which I've also taken.

All the photos which I have taken are handheld in the field with no tripod so, as they say; "You pays yer money, you takes yer chances."

The scenery shots that I am putting up are for my son and two daughters whom I love. My son, Sam, birds with me quite often, and wanted reminders of the trips.

There are some images, though not many, which were taken by Sam, or my brother-in-law and friend Ron Howard both of whom I often travel with. I credit them when that is the case.
