Andrea Bordin was born on February 10th 1977 in Vercelli.

He studied Information Technology @ Turin's Polytechnic and he actually lives in a little town near Vercelli with his wife Claudia and their two children (Stefano & Mattia).

After some years spent working on an ICT enterprise company, he changed his work to move to Milan as manager in a staffing company. He works there since 10 years and at the moment he covers the Company Organization Manager position.

At 16teen he felt in love with fotography and he started shooting on analogic for some years; but the digital revolution was coming out and while photography was moving to DSLRs he was studying ICT at University.

Work, Family and the technology passion moved him away from Photography for some years but he spent this time growing in his tech knowledge and most of all on the development and marketing side of Information Technology.

He grown up with a big contrast living in a little rural district and working with technology.

And this is the key of his approach to photography. Even if it starts as an hobby, passion and technical aspects perfectly merged in his style.

Since he was young, light is his passion and his obsession at the same time. For this reason his approach to the strobist photography is the key aspect of his portfolio.

Light should always be under control and forced to match the image he wants to produce.
