Married retired geologist.

I mainly take outdoor shots such as street scenes, sports, historical re-enactments, landscapes, sky-scapes, architecture and wildlife. I recently got a Canon EOS 7D and use this mainly with a SIGMA 18-250MM VC lens. MY Canon EOS 400D is still occasionally used by my wife who takes great shots with it. My less common indoor shots concentrate on the antics of our cat and new kitten.

Glyn thrills his legions of fans with his daily interpretations of the landscape, wildlife and cultural activities of his home region. Viewing his images is like an encyclopedia of " What's Happening in Fife " His photography and text always convey much interest which is woven with his wonderful sharp wit. He is generous and articulate in his appreciation of other photographers efforts which speaks volumes of his character. I could put it no better myself than to use Glyn's own words in saying that he is the complete professional photographic tart !!!!!

He's been through difficult times but it hasn't stopped him from taking the world by it's horns and saying, "Here I Am... Get Used To It and I'm not going to let the past drag me down!" 6. He's my own personal super-hero.

This guy knows his rocks - and takes some pretty mean photos too. I first came across my friend Dysartian through his photos of Fife where I grew up. Many were of familiar places, but always with a fresh and interesting angle. He covers a wonderful range of subjects - bird watching, well researched old buildings and history, the ever changing weather on the coast, geology, pets and people watching - never dull. I have discovered he has a wicked (but kindly) sense of humour, and a wonderful way with words. I always look forward to seeing what he posts next - keep 'em coming, Glynn!
