Spent most of my working life repairing radio comms equipment.

It became really interesting when I got a job repairing Amateur Radios.

This is where I met the other two 'Detectives'. They introduced me to photography and coached me on a daily basis at work!

I started going out on shoots with them. Sometimes we'd go out at lunchtime for a shoot in the Winchester area because this was where we worked.

Our company CEO (detective), suggested we do some Film Noir photography. After a little research, we decided to be detectives!

The 'Winchester Double-take Detective Agency' was born! Hence my series of 'detective' photos. We set these situations up in our warehouse and offices after work once others had left. We had so much fun doing this!

One was a Canon guy and the other A Panasonic Lumix guy so I did a bit of both.

I became interested in film photography through one of the detectives and bought quit a few older cameras very cheaply on eBay. My fave was my Yashica Mat 124G, which has now died. My next faves are My Korelle compur and my Kodak No1 Junior Autographic, a bellows camera.

Much later, I came across Topaz Studio2 from Topaz Labs and found this collection of software to be just what I needed. I very seldom do a photo without Topaz Studio2.

As I got into my 70's, arthritis took it's toll and my Canon gear was too heavy and had to go! I now use my iPhone XR, Olympus E-M10 MKii and Panasonic Lumix G7.
