I always liked photography.. I try to get family photos often..
If these digital cameras were available back when, I'd have 1000 times the number of photos!!!!
All the photos present were taken by myself or of me with my camera by another family member or Army buddy or fellow Police Officer..
Because of Smug Mugs rules I deleted 14,800 photos to comply with there rules by December 2018..
The photos of my uncles during WW ll have been re-posted here.. I represent Uncle Jack KIA (Killed in Action) 27 Feb 45 Merzenich Germany, for whom I was named after...
When I served in the U. S. Army 7 Dec 65 thru 6 Dec 67 I tried to take as many photos as I could when I could, although I was usually working hard on assignments or on the move..
In the Albums section one can view some photos of the Army album re-posted..
My overseas tour was in the jungles of Thailand (Cambodia, Laos were part of the President Johnsons Secret War, still Secret 57 years later) I served in Company A 538th Engineer Battalion (which was part of the 44th Engineer Group that complied with the Orders of that Secret War) 9th Logistical Command..
When I returned to the USA, I served in the 522 Engineer Company Ft. Knox for a short time.
I requested a transfer to the Armor Battalion that the 522nd was attached to which needed heavy equipment operators & I served in Company A 6th Battalion 32 Armored Regiment at Fort Knox KY..
I was trained on the M60A1 Patton Tank and M551 Sheridan I was attached to the M60A1 Patton 'Aggravated' but since it was a training outfit part of the Armor School we operated any M60A1 that was needed for the training of OCS..
I was sworn in as a NYC Transit Police Officer 5 May 69 and retired on 11 May 89, I served 20 years on patrol, mostly in the NYC Subways and some time in their (RMP) Police Vehicles.. I'm Retired for 34 years, 14 more years than I actually served..
I also worked for years as a Security Guard for various different companies and different locations..
At 80 years of age come this July, I'm retired and I'd like to tour the USA.. I was also thinking of a return trip to Thailand, for FUN this time (to Old to run/move as I did at 20/21 years old), of course taking my Nikon D90 and D7200 with me..

A wonderful career and a superb biography. Very interesting reading.
Beautiful pictures and amazing biography, Jack. Your family and friends have to be very proud of you. I'm sorry about your wife. New York city is one of my favourite cities. Visiting "her" was like coming back home. Greetings form Madrid, Spain. Juan.
