The aim of Tidy Towns Project is to support the people of Laois to take responsibility for the quality of their local environment by encouraging local community groups to carry out sustainable, practical improvement projects.

Laois Federation of Tidy Towns was established in 1998 and at present has 31 groups registered. These groups have been conserving and enhancing the local environment in their community and are an invaluable resource.
