An image on a screen and a handmade print are not the same thing. A print has a presence in itself and requires no infrastructure to be seen. I find myself motivated by the chemical processes of photography, and have little interest in digital cameras, and social media. Flikr is the exception, and I find the range of photographers here inspiring. No stress for me in this time of my life, no professional aspiration, just exploration.

Like a bag of warn but carefully selected golf clubs, my camera bag is loved by me. Filled with diverse formats and types of film cameras my range of expression is expanded. Each camera produces a different aesthetic, and the creative genius of the camera manufacturer is appreciated by me. I have been bit by the shutter bug, and am a dilettante, possibly an artist in the Naive category.
