In my former life, I was a quality engineer and analytical chemist, working for Texaco Research, IBM and the University of Texas at Austin. My business travel included visits to Germany, Hungary and Thailand and my personal travel to Switzerland, Iceland, Israel, Italy, France, the UK and elsewhere.
