I'm a native midwesterner who studied photojournalism at the University of Missouri-Columbia, School of Journalism back in the 1960s. So, I have been taking pictures longer than most people have been alive. I have always used Nikon and Pentax cameras and continue to use that mix today. I switched to digital about five years ago. I take photos of everything but have a particular fondness of architecture and "found" items that see in my everyday comings and goings.
