I started photography in 1959 with my first camera, an Argus C3. In the mid 1960's while in Japan, I purchased a Nikon F which served me well into the early 1980's. I switched for a short time to a Canon F1, then back to Nikon with an F3. I also shot 4x5 with a Graflex Speed Graphic, and 2 1/4x2 1/4 with an Ikoflex twin-lens reflex. Throughout most of this period I utilized my fully equipped dark room, concentrating mostly on developing and printing B&W, although I also dabbled in the Cibachrome color system. I moved to digital with a Kodak DC200, then a Sony DSC-F717, followed by a Nikon D80, D2X, D300, D3, D7000, D7100, D500, D750 & a D850. Currently I shoot a Nikon D3, my personal favorite, and a camera I will never sell, and a Nikon D7100 as a backup, and for crop shots. I've owned more than 100 Nikon lenses over the last 58 years. Current lenses: Nikon AF-S Nikkor 16-35mm f/4, Nikon AF-S Nikon 28-70mm f/2.8D, Tamron SP 35mm f/1.4, Nikon AF Micro-Nikkor 60mm f/2.8D, Nikon AF-S Nikkor 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G, Nikon AF Nikkor 85mm f/1.4D & a Nikon AF Nikkor 300mm f/4. I have created albums for some of the cameras and lenses I've used so one can see how each camera/lens performs. Photography has always been more of a passion rather than just a profession.
