Exploring with a camera allows me to hang a frame on the natural world. It involves choosing what to exclude as much as what to include.
When I choose a location to shoot, I may have an idea of what is to be the primary subject, but many times the end results veer off in a totally different direction. If the light is not right for the original subject, I'll start seeking out what I call the "little landscapes". It seems the areas near my feet are the fallback subjects. The macro lens comes out and closeup images get recorded.

Testimonials
This is an impressive collection of art. I really like the artistic presentations of simple natural things and textures.
