My name is Kyla. I love taking photographs to capture one moment that you can never live again, baking sweet, sweet treats that are chock full of chocolate and salt, and expressing my emotions, bittersweet or happy, through music.

I enjoy taking photos of my pets. I dream that I will someday take conceptual photos like those of the awesome Eva Merry or empress Brooke Shaden. Sometimes I photograph food, and I love Abbie E. from her blog Everything Needs Salt.

I choose to believe that bokeh can make anything look charming, especially when it gets 'moony' and circular, fuzzy, and soft in the background. Bokeh enchants me; if you want to win me over, just throw some bokeh in it.

I like Regina Spektor, Taylor Swift, Jillian Edwards, Lenka, and I sometimes pleasurably listen to The Beatles, because they're so amazing + classic.

I am suffering from Insomnia, so please do not be puzzled if you see me active at 2 AM, then again at 7 AM.

Also I have 7 cats.
