My previous life was fulfilled by helping to save lives as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner in the UK - which I confess to missing greatly however at now 73 the emergency world has been replaced with this photographic journey with my camera and one that gives me endless hours of fulfilling my passion for the natural world and the challenge of learning

Since joining Flickr I have learnt so much from all of you and I would like to say a huge Thank You to everyone who has contributed directly and indirectly to my learning.

I try to respond to everyone that takes the time to comment on my images (not always but as often as I can) -- unfortunately I haven't enough hours in a day to acknowledge all those who 'fave' my images but nevertheless I thank you for doing so and appreciate you taking the time to view my photostream.

May I take this opportunity to thank and to apologise to those inviting my image to be included in their Groups - I will accept the very minimum of group invites only - not because I do not like your group, it is just that I haven't the time to take part actively in Groups - I hope you understand.
