My card making started when my business partner and I received our custom-printed Christmas cards with her name spelled wrong! It was too late to send the cards out so instead we got the idea of making Chinese New Years cards. They were so popular that we continued it for the next 4 years until her retirement in 2006. This tradition brought me into contact with a local stamp and paper store and opened up a whole new avenue of creativity.
Professionally I am an interior designer specializing in commercial interiors in the fields of healthcare, hospitality, and education. I work in an office in my home where I am often accompanied by a large yellow lab and/or two black cats. My husband and I are grandparents to three - a pair of fraternal twins and their younger sister. When I'm not designing a hotel lobby you'll find me either in my craft room making cards or in my southern Oregon garden.
