I have recently been shut out of my Flickr page ' Fluffupbuttercup (Jan) and after trying everything can't get back in. This is a temporary account I hope. I have uploaded a few old drawings for now.

From 1989 I taught young people with severe learning difficulties. I created multi sensory environments based on well known paintings, the students could inhabit these and experience being 'inside' the painting.

Drawing has always been a hobby, I would have liked to develop it further.

In my 20s I worked in experimental theatre. Performing, writing and creating sets. I worked with Interaction in Camden and The Other Company also based in Camden. We put on performances at The Royal Court, The ICA , the Round House and numerous other venues across England.

With Peter Thorpe I ran Theatrespiel, an experimental theatre company based at The Oval House, London. The performances took place on the London Underground, motorway service stns, the streets, in the sea, at festivals, almost anywhere.

I was the secretary of The May First Movement. An organisation which was based at The Unity Theatre in Camden, it brought together Socialist artists, writers, poets and playwrights to collaborate on joint projects and exhibitions. Amongst many projects we staged a large exhibition at the TUC at the time of the miners strike. It included work by the Ashington miners, their story has now been made into a film and a play.

I have always enjoyed collaborative projects. In recent times I was part of a group which created an app on the Industrial maritime history of Greenwich. This took the form of a free app which can be used as a visual and auditory guide which brings to life the history of the river as you walk from The Cutty Sark to the Dome.

I really appreciate the contact I have with creative people through Flickr.
