I learn how I see the world. I have been taking photographs since I was a young child. That passion inflamed in high school and went into college at RIT. I also wanted to know how my photos were going to be reproduced so I minored in Printing Technology. When I graduated I went into the Screen Printing Industry as one of very few women who were looked upon as an expert in the field of film, tension, screen making, primarily pre-press. The few women that I worked with were pioneers. Anyhow I have always taken many photos of what and where I was. Looking at the magic time light and the wonderful characters of people that we see every day. I had a daughter and became a typical mother photographing kids all the time. Now my passion truly is nature, found, sunset, trees, rain, clouds, bunnies, children, fog, etc. I like certain events and when I am at them I take photos of things that interest me. They may seem odd to others but isn't that what creativity is all about. I love that my daughter actually has a better eye than I do and can see light in a totally different way. Her sense of composition is very different than mine and yet it is so alluring and fascinating. It excites, and amazes me. I am very proud of her work. @hamcleanphotos
